چکیده

A general method is established to derive a ground-complete axiomatization for a weak semantics from such an axiomatization for its concrete counterpart, in the context of the process algebra BCCS. This transformation moreover preserves ω-completeness. It is applicable to semantics at least as coarse as impossible futures semantics. As an application, groundand ω-complete axiomatizations are derived for weak failures, completed trace and trace semantics. We then present a finite, sound, ground-complete axiomatization for the concrete impossible futures preorder, which implies a finite, sound, ground-complete axiomatization for the weak impossible futures preorder. In contrast, we prove that no finite, sound axiomatization for BCCS modulo concrete and weak impossible futures equivalence is ground-complete. If the alphabet of actions is infinite, then the aforementioned groundcomplete axiomatizations are shown to be ω-complete. If the alphabet is finite, we prove that the inequational theories of BCCS modulo the concrete and weak impossible futures preorder lack such a finite basis.

On Finite Bases for Weak Semantics: Failures Versus Impossible Futures

We provide a finite basis for the (in)equational theory of the process algebra BCCS modulo the weak failures preorder and equivalence. We also give positive and negative results regarding the axiomatizability of BCCS modulo weak impossible futures semantics.

Liveness, Fairness and Impossible Futures

Impossible futures equivalence is the semantic equivalence on labelled transition systems that identifies systems iff they have the same “AGEF” properties: temporal logic properties saying that reaching a desired outcome is not doomed to fail. We show that this equivalence, with an added root condition, is the coarsest congruence containing weak bisimilarity with explicit divergence that respec...

Axiomatizability by a Scheme

In this paper we give an improvement of Vaught’s Theorem on Axiomatizability by a Scheme. We show that any RE theory that directly interprets the theory of non-surjective unordered pairing, where pairing need not be functional, is axiomatizable by a scheme.

A new method for accelerating impossible differential cryptanalysis and its application on LBlock

Impossible differential cryptanalysis, the extension of differential cryptanalysis, is one of the most efficient attacks against block ciphers. This cryptanalysis method has been applied to most of the block ciphers and has shown significant results. Using structures, key schedule considerations, early abort, and pre-computation are some common methods to reduce complexities of this attack. In ...

Pricing of Commodity Futures Contract by Using of Spot Price Jump-Diffusion Process

Futures contract is one of the most important derivatives that is used in financial markets in all over the world to buy or sell an asset or commodity in the future. Pricing of this tool depends on expected price of asset or commodity at the maturity date. According to this, theoretical futures pricing models try to find this expected price in order to use in the futures contract. So in this ar...
